Whose That Girl: 20 Fun Things About Me

Hey Guys!!! On today's challenge menu is "20 Fun Things About Me."  You think you know but you have no idea! (Y'all remember that show from MTV's many years ago called Diary)...Haha No...Am I showing my age right now???...Ok..moving right along.   So I consider myself to be a very quiet person but once you get to know me I am open book...It's a gift and a curse.  Creating this list was kinda difficult because I normally don't talk about myself and it's easy to think of  five things but 20!?!  Geesh... But I won't keep stalling so without further ado here it goes...

(1)  Those who know me know I am a twin.  I have twin brother named Brandon.  Brandon & Brandy :-) rhymes right? Thank my mom for her skills.. LOL and no we have do not some kind of telepathic connection when we know what the other is thinking...LOL

(2)  I have four tattoos.  I want more and plan on getting more soon! (My auntie hates it! LOL)

(3) I've never attended the Chicago Auto Show and it just passed too.  LOL

(4) I've never been sky-diving.  I've always wanted to try it.  Maybe one day I will get a chance to experience it.  I'm thinking of doing indoor sky diving for my bday!

(5) I danced in the Bud Billiken parade (many, many, many, years ago).  The Bud Billiken parade happens before the school year in Chicago during the summer time.  I forgot at what age I think 7 but it was fun. 

(6) You probably can't tell now because I am sooooo girly girl now with the make-up & what not, but I played basketball all four years in H.S. I played as a small forward/guard position. I had a nice J aka jump shot. Guys be trying get me out of retirement...lol but I am not about to play myself! I am beyond rusty...lol I still got handles tho even with my long nails!  TRY ME!! HAHA.  It broke my dads heart when I stopped playing. Till this day he talks about my games & threatens to bring out the old VHS tapes...lol Hopefully my Savannah boo (my daughter) plays when she gets older...lol  Go Bulldogs!!!

(7) In my b-ball days...I loved a ton of basketball players from Kevin Garnett and Kobe Bryant. I had their posters hanging in my dorm room.  However I had the BIGGEST crush on Allen Iverson.  A.I was BAE! Honestly I don't know any girl at that time who did think A.I was fine!  Now that he is a bit older he still fine!  I loved a man who was tatted up!

(8) Public speaking makes me nervous. In college I had a public speaking class and in middle of a speech I just walked out of class...SMH.  I've gotten a bit better now but its still makes me nervous.

(9) I LOVE HOUSE MUSIC!!!  Where my House Heads at??? Every summer in Chicago there is the biggest House Picnic. I've been in attendance for the last 5 years and I plan on going this year.  My auntie and daddy are house heads so its natural that I love it too.  *hits church clap*

(10) French fries are one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE FOODS! I can eat those all day! Everyday! With either Sweet baby Rays or Ketchup.  Steak fries are my #1.

(11) I was born in Jacksonville, FL.  Daddy was in the Navy...

(12) I HATE BIRDS!!! I REPEAT I HATE THEM! Any type! Pigeons and Seagulls especially (I blame that Alfred Hitchcock movie Birds).  I act a plum fool when they fly too close.

(13) I have a BAD HABIT of collecting journals and not using them. I love to journal when the time permits..If I see a cute one I just have to purchase one.

(14) I wanted to join the Navy in H.S.  I was in JROTC Junior and Senior year.  I worked on the Navy Base and even took the ASVAP.  Until one day, I worked at the recruit store & saw the petty officer yelling at the new recruits.  That changed my mind.  I am UBER sensitive so I opted out of military life. 

(15)   In H.S I wanted to play professional basketball for the WNBA.  I wanted to dunk too...lol Sheryl Swoops, Dawn Staley and Lisa Leslie were my favorite players.

(16) I LOVE ladybugs! I've heard that ladybugs are considered good luck.  I'm not sure where this obsession began...I think when one of my friends called us her "ladybugs" it kinda stuck with me...then over time the obsession grew.  I had a ladybug themed baby shower.  I just recently got a ladybug tattoo too.  I just think they are cute too. 

(17) I have a WEIRD habit of repeating myself when I'm hungry...lol I don't know if its me reminding myself I need to eat.  My friends HATES when I do this...lol  It can be annoying but hey...lol

(18) I LOVE to listen to live music.  Attending concerts is one of my favorite things to do.  I've seen Kanye West about 3 times (he is my fav...not up for debate either!).  I was very hurt when I didn't go to the Life of Pablo tour. I mean my feelings were beyond hurt.  One of my goals is to attend a concert in a different city!

(19) I DO NOT LIKE scary movies or haunted houses!  I am a scary cat so when Halloween comes you will not see me going to anything Haunted houses like Stateville or Haunted corn mazes.  A couple years ago I went to Fright Fest for the first time & was terrified...lol  Fright fest isn't even that scary but my scary butt said I would never go again. 

(20)  Last but not least  I am really into astrology.  Shout out to all my Virgos!!! I'm not crazy deep into it...but I do believe that the descriptions of each signs are true. I am that person that will ask you "What's your sign?" so I can analyze you or your relationship.
