My Average Day...(Day 15)

Good evening guys! How's everyone doing?! I am here to give you guys the brand new topic of the night!  I must admit tonight I was struggling with completing this topic because I just felt meh "My Average Day" is just that AVERAGE...LOL

My many alarms
My day starts pretty early so I can get ready for work.  I have about five alarms set, I know I am not the only person that has multiple alarms set lol.  After a couple of snoozes I get up and hop in the shower and get flawless.

During the week it does not take me a ton of time to get ready.  I think it takes me about 30-45 minutes to get dressed.  I don't wear makeup during the week unless I have something special so that cuts down a lot of time.  After I am dressed I get Savannah ready.  Savannah is not a morning person so I have to motivate her to get moving, which can take up some time.  Once we are dressed we are out the door and heading to our destination.

I drop Savannah off to her caregiver, hug and kiss, then I am out the door for the bus.

The bus ride to work is a straight shot downtown Chicago.  I love working downtown especially in the summer time.  Summertime Chi it liiit with all the festivals, concerts and tons of people.   Its fun to be around.  Right now, its not so fun, its cold and people are just trying to get to places quickly. I definitely have to keep up when walking to work.   I work a 8-hour day as Specialty Claims Adjuster for a warranty company.  Our specialty is credit card claims.  The job can be pretty intense because people are either upset about the process or just mad in general about the benefit.  On average I have to deal with attitudes and smart comments.  Gotta love Customer Service.

My work day is over at 4:15pm so I am hustling back on the bus to pick Savannah up.  Once I have Savannah we are heading home.  When I am home I try to accomplish things I have on my "weekly goals" list.  Nine times out of ten I am successful other times, things carry over to the next week. In between trying to cook dinner and clean,  I try to get some play time in with Savannah.  Since I am gone majority of the day, I make a huge effort to get that one-on-one time with her.  We either play with her babies or kitchen set.  If I am washing dishes I incorporate her into "helping."  Her help just consists of her playing in the water.  She's happy which makes me happy.  I am often too tired to play but I still give her that time because its important.  After we play its bath time and getting ready for bed.   Most of the time bed time becomes  both our bed time.  When I put Savannah to sleep I often fall asleep too.  Once I am sleep my day is over & I am repeating the same cycle for the next day.

However for the month of March I have been staying up late and setting time aside to complete the blogging topic of the night.  I get most of my writing done when Savannah is asleep.  My day is pretty simple.  Get up...work...Savannah...home. Repeat.  Some writing here or there. In the near future I plan to end the monotony of everyday life and start doing things to fulfill my goals. Until then this is "My Average Day.."

Alright guys! See you guys on tomorrow!
